Storelectric at the World Utilities Congress

Storelectric was invited to present twice at the World Utilities Congress:

  1. Challenges and opportunities of hydrogen transport, distribution and storage (panel event), which showcased Storelectric’s hydrogen offering – click to read full article.
  2. Challenges of the electricity transition (presentation), which looked at the various technical challenges that grids encounter while decarbonising and highlighted our CAES electricity storage offerings – click to read full article. He is covering these issues in a series of blogs starting below.

This also gave many opportunities for more personal discussions at the stand, such as this one with His Excellency Suhail Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy. This led to many promising contacts, though it will take time to see which bear fruit.

Storelectric in Saudi Arabia

Between the two conferences, Mark visited a number of potential customers and partners in Riyadh and Jeddah, including at the National Grid, with Storelectric’s local partner ATCO (AA Turki Group). A great deal of interest was shown, the start of a long trail…

Storelectric at ChangeNOW

Mark also had four opportunities to speak at the ChangeNOW Summit, thrice presenting Storelectric and once at the Cities Workshop. Mark was in the panel discussing Making Renewable Energy Cleaner  and also featured in France24 (see video below) international news channel’s report on the Summit. Again, many useful contacts were made and much interest was shown; again it will take time.

Tallat Live on TRT World

An English-language Turkish channel, TRT World, looked at current energy challenges in the light of both the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing energy transition. During its report they interviewed Tallat: you can view that interview here.
